BEFORE and AFTER! Check out the old stone wall behind our woodstove and the after. Paint can make a huge difference on many things in your home. It is one of the cheapest and biggest changers in a home that you can do!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ever since my husband and I bought our home in Glencairn, I always disliked the stone behind the woodstove. It was not the colours that went with anything in our house. I wanted to update it (as we did the tile and flooring) but just never got around to it and didn’t want to break the bank replacing all the stones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I went to Benjamen Moore and got a white wash paint that did exactly what I wanted. All for under $30!!! I absolutely love how it turned out. It’s light enough that it still pulls the grey’s and browns through, all while getting rid of the yellowish background colour that I hated. We still need to trim out the top and bottom, but I couldn’t wait to share the results!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You do not have to spend a ton to make stylish upgrades to your home \"\ud83c\udfe1\".
